    Glasgow Public Works would like to notify City of Glasgow residents and businesses that emergency sewer repair work along 6th Ave North, near 8th Street North and 9th Street North will begin today, Aug. 29, and continue through the end of the week (Sept. 1).     The 2023 Scottie football season kicked off Aug. 26 with Glasgow hosting the Shepherd Mustangs. Glasgow dropped the opener 28-8 after Shepherd scored three times in the final quarter. "The team played well, but Shepherd played better," said head coach and defensive coordinator Patrick Barnett. The Mustangs scored first on a 19-yard run at 2:48 in the first quarter.     The Frazer cross country teams started their 2023 season Aug. 25 at the Wolf Point Invitational. The Bearcub boys placed sixth with a team score of 139 led by Jarvis Goodbird.
