    Still cutting time going into the finals, the Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder Swim Team had a solid performance from 22 swimmers at the state meet in Conrad this past weekend. Out of the 22 state qualifiers, 13 swimmers qualified for the finals on Sunday and went on to bring home three champions, six second-place and six third-place finishes. That gives the Thunder a fourth place in the A Division with 232 points, or ninth overall out of 22 teams from throughout Montana that competed in the state meet....

    Experience reigned supreme for the Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder swim team at the Divisional swim meet in Chinook this past weekend. The Thunder took 28 swimmers with them to the meet and 22 of those advanced to the finals of the meet and qualified for the State swim meet that will be held in Conrad this weekend.     The Glasgow Kiwanis swim team finished in fifth place this past weekend at the Glendive meet.     The Fourth of July weekend started off with a splash Saturday as the Glasgow Kiwanis swim team hosted the Glasgow Invitational swim meet. The meet, which saw 11 total teams compete in the two-day event, came down to the wire as Glasgow narrowly came out of the meet with a first place finish.     The Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder swim team keeps on kicking as they took third last weekend at the Plentywood meet. "Our younger swimmers had so much personal improvement," said Thunder head coach Whitney Billing. "It was really fun to watch them swim and have better times."     The Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder swim team participated in their second meet of the season at Malta in which the Thunder finished sixth in the team standings. On the individual side, the Thunder were once again led by swimmers Britt Fairclough and Jordan Kulczyk.     The Glasgow Kiwanis swim team has started their season and one meet in is already beginning to make waves. The team traveled to Sidney this past weekend and ended up taking third place in the two-day event with a score of 532 points. Glendive finished in second with 648 points while Sidney took the first place finish with an astounding 1,465 points.
