Gerald Edwin McPherson (aka Jerry Mac) was born on Feb. 16, 1934, and crossed over into eternity on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. Mac was born in Glasgow, Mont., and reared on the McPherson ranch in McCone County. He was the third child of Thomas and Leila (Copeland) McPherson. Mac's sister, Phyllis, died in infancy, in 1927.
