A member of the Helicopter Development Squadron, U.S. Navy, is hauled aboard the "rescuer" during a simulated rescue at the Navy's Lakehurst, N.J., air base. The tandem-motored helicopter is the largest in the world, and in actual operation can rescue ten or more men.
