    Glasgow hosted 26 schools with 258 wrestlers competing in the 27th Annual Scottie Wrestling Invitational Dec. 9 and 10. The Scotties put three grapplers on the podium after two days of intense competition. Freshman Khye Gamas took third place at 138 lbs. and senior Mason Donaldson earned second place at 170 lbs.     Nashua's girls basketball team put two more in the win column this past weekend at home. Friday night, the Porcupines rolled over Glasgow's JV team 37-11. They followed that with a 41-26 victory over Wibaux Saturday. Nashua outscored Wibaux 10-4 in the opening quarter then shut out their visitors in the second while adding 13 points to their side of the scoreboard.     Nashua's boys basketball team posted two wins this past weekend at home. The Porcupines defeated the Glasgow JV team 48-32 Friday after a strong second half and downed Wibaux 60-48 Saturday. Nashua and Glasgow were knotted 12-12 at the end of the first and the Scotties led 23-17 at the half Friday.     Glasgow’s boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season this past weekend at the Woodden Memorial Tournament in Red Lodge this past weekend. The Scotties fell to host Red Lodge 57-54 Friday but bounced back to defeat Big Timber 49-47 Saturday. The Scotties fell to the hosts 50-28 Friday before dropping a 52-37 contest to Big Timber on Saturday.     Sign-ups for the second session of Glasgow Learn to Skate are taking place now through Dec. 20. Last session we were full so don’t delay in reserving a spot for your skater. Classes are 45 minutes long which include a lesson and free time. Kindergarten through adult classes are on Fridays between 9 a.m., and noon and Saturdays 8 to 9 a.m. Preschool classes are on Saturdays 9 to 9:30 a.m. Cost is $50 per six-week session for kindergarten through adult lessons and $30 for preschoolers.     Candy France, age 76, of Glasgow, Montana passed away December 12, 2022 at FMDH after a battle with Endometrial Cancer. She was strong and brave to the very end. A Celebration of Her Life will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 19, at Bell Mortuary, Glasgow, Mont., with Pastor Tom Fauth officiating. Burial will be when the weather in nicer in the spring.
