    The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will be having a pancake breakfast at Shelter 4 in Fort Peck from 8 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 29. The meal is $5 for two pancakes, three sausages, coffee, cocoa or water and all are invited. During breakfast, the Glasgow Invitational Cross Country meet will start at Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck at 9 a.m., with kids walking/jogging the course.     At a balmy 25 degrees, brave and eager children came out on April 7, to hunt for Easter eggs the Easter bunny had hid (or placed) around Hoyt Park.     A popular Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 6 program that allows children and their families to check out free fishing rods and tackle is in full swing again this year. In time for summer fishing, FWP staff has restocked the 44 different location sites across Montana’s Hi-Line.     The 2017 Montana Governor's Cup Youth Fishing Tournament was held at the Kiwanis Park fishing ponds in Fort Peck on July 8. Fishing began at 8:30 a.m. with 94 kids participating, and 89 fish were reeled in by the tournament end. The effective bait was provided by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, and Scheels of Billings provided tackle boxes to each participant.
