    Montana seniors will see cheaper prescription drug prices on 10 common medications as a direct result of the Inflation Reduction Act. The law will lower the prices of 10 prescription drugs for Montana seniors by securing price negotiation power for Medicare, by allowing Medicare to directly negotiate drug prices with pharmaceutical companies.     Glasgow's volleyball team won their home opener Aug. 31, downing the Chinook Sugarbeeters 25-18,18-25, 20-25, 27-25, 15-13. The Scotties traveled to Chinook for their Invite Sept. 2 where they put up a 2-4 record and claimed second place in the silver bracket. Glasgow came from down 1-3 sets to take their win over Chinook in front of an enthused home crowd even though Chinook padded the stats sheet more.     The Scotties dropped a 38-6 non-conference football game to the Huntley Project Red Devils Sept. 1 on the road. Glasgow scored once in the second quarter while Huntley Project put up points in all four quarters of play. The Scotties’ record is now 0-2 on the 2023 season. The Red Devils scored on a 1-yard touchdown in the first quarter and added the PAT after a successful kick attempt.     The Frazer Bearcubs hit the Poplar Cross Country Meet Sept. 2, showing strong improvement. All five members of the boys team set personal records while two of the three girls established season records. The boys team scored 111 points to take fifth place.
