But because of the superintendent at that time leaving and a new superintendent coming in, the board voted to table the issue. At the school board meeting, a motion was made that the board have the ability to explore and adopt a four-day or modified four-day school week.     The Glasgow Scoties are sending nine wrestlers to the State tournament this weekend after the boys placed third and the girls ninth at the MHSA B/C Eastern Divisional Tournament in Wolf Point.     The North Country Mavericks and Lady Mavericks went to Scobey on Saturday, and took on their Spartan counterparts on Feb. 3. It was their second meeting of the 2023-24 season. The Lady Mavericks were able to defeat the Lady Spartans 47-23, and extended their win-streak to 44 games. The Mavericks fell 71-36 to the Spartans.     The Scottie boys suffered a tough 79-53 loss to Malta at home Feb. 1 but recovered with a 75-67 win over the Poplar Indians the following night on the road. Glasgow holds a 5-3, 8-8 overall record heading into the final week of the regular season.     The Scottie girls basketball team fell 57-43 to the visiting Malta M-ettes Feb. 1 but rebounded to avenge an earlier season loss against the Poplar Indians, winning 56-53 on the road Feb. 2.
