    Undergraduate and graduate students studying music with ambitions for future careers can take time over the holiday break to apply for the DAR Marian Anderson Legacy Scholarship. Sponsored by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the scholarship provides a one-time $5,000 award to one student annually who is pursuing undergraduate or graduate study in music.     The Ice Dawgs split their home games against the Miles City Generals this past weekend, winning 7-5 Jan. 12 and losing 7-3 Jan. 13. Bode Barnett started the scoring action Friday night with help from Brody Hansen in a back and forth first period. Miles City tied the game before Peyton Smith gave the Dawgs the lead again.     The Scottie boys basketball team fell to a late-surging Poplar team Jan. 12 by a score of 65-61. The Indians scored 23 in the final quarter while holding Glasgow to 4 points to put the Scotties record at 1-2 in conference play, 3-6 overall. The visiting Indians held a 16-13 lead after one but Glasgow took control in the second quarter to lead 40-25 at the half.     The Scottie girls fell 56-43 to the visiting Poplar Indians Jan. 12. Glasgow's record now sits at 1-2 in conference play, 3-6 overall. Glasgow led 12-8 at the end of the first quarter but trailed 20-16 at the half. Poplar drove up the score with a 22-point showing in the third while holding the Scotties to 11 points.     Glasgow hit the mats against Williston and Sidney in Sidney Jan. 9 before hitting the annual Cowboy Invitational in Miles City Jan. 12 and 13. The Scotties lost their matchups in the Sidney dual: Sidney 42 Glasgow 25 and Williston 57 Glasgow 16. Both the Scottie boys and girls finished in 12th place in Miles City.
