Hi-Line Sportsmen are reducing at least one barrier to participation in hunting: helping defray the costs of commercial processing of harvested venison.
The Glasgow-based conservation group will underwrite the cost of processing venison for hunters in financial need. Partnering with Hi-Line Sportsmen is Brian “Auzzie” Austin of Hi-Line Meats in Glasgow.
Funds are limited, and will be distributed until they are depleted. Montana’s big-game season was extended through Nov. 26. Contact Hi-Line Sportsmen president Jared Krebs at 320-250-5997 or visit the group’s Facebook page for details on the venison-processing donation or other activities.
