Who Will You Choose?

Going into Super Tuesday, the count shows Trump leading with 82 delegates, Cruz with 17, Rubio with 16, Kasich with 6 and Carson has 4. Looks like a landslide for The Donald doesn’t it?

But wait, there’s more.

A lot can change when only 125 delegates out of 1,237 are declared. How will the remaining delegates vote?

You already know what’s going on because you are reading this on the Wednesday or Thursday after Super Tuesday has come and gone and all the questions have been answered. I’m doing this broadcast on the Sunday preceding Super Tuesday. But there’s still a lot to discuss before the final tallies are in and the two candidates are chosen.

Bill O’Reilly says that between 85 and 90 percent of black voters will choose the Democrat, no matter who it is, Hillary or Bernie. Yikes! Without questioning who really has the knowledge and ability to heal the country. Folks will vote Democrat just because he/she is a Democrat. Republicans will vote republican.

The Washington Post did a poll on who the Hispanic electorate will vote for. They predict t 34 percent will vote for Rubio, 23 percent will vote for Trump, 21 percent for Cruz, four percent Carson and three percent Kasich. But here’s the rub. Fifteen percent of the Hispanic electorate are on the fence.

On the Democrat side, Hillary Clinton is far ahead of poor ol’ Bernie Sanders: polling has Hillary at 57 percent, Bernie at 28 percent and 13 percent are undecided.

In my opinion, they are all too old for the job. I would like to see a young person in the Oval Office. The old guys like Hillary, Bernie and Trump would be valuable as advisers or consultants: not in the top job. Hillary is too condescending and she’s too old. Bernie doesn’t look like a president and he’s too old and Trump is too abrasive and he’s too old.

With assets of $8.5 billion Trump can afford to spend literally hundreds of millions of dollars to buy a $400,000-plus a year job. But The Donald didn’t get where he is by being timid. (It helps when your parents were in New York real estate and they like you well enough to give you some start-up cash.)

Look at it this way: This guy is smart! He’s getting the most media coverage of any of the candidates on both sides of the page. Therefore he’s getting millions of dollars in free advertisement. While the others are spending millions, Trump continues saying inappropriate and racially incendiary things to keep his name on the tube and in the papers. Smart!

When Donald Trump’s name first surfaced as a presidential hopeful the pundits and the liberal papers (Washington Post) opined that he wouldn’t run. Then they recanted and said he would run. Then they wrote that IF he ran he wouldn’t stay the distance. They said he’d quit. Now they’re saying he’s a viable candidate but are still not ready to accept him as such. If it was anyone other than Trump the liberal media would already be getting ready for his coronation.

We have become a nation of people who are asking the candidates, “What can you do for ME? What can you give ME?” We should all be asking which candidate will be the best one to help heal our ailing country.

Unfortunately, there aren’t enough red necks in the world to get Trump elected. At any rate it will get interesting before it’s decided.

That’s it for now folks. Thanks for listening.”
