The Scottie wrestlers mixed it up in Poplar Saturday morning, the first meet since senior night a few weeks ago. The boys just barely came away on top, with a 7-6 record overall. Coach Jory Casterline summarized the day with, "We lost a few matches that we should have won."
Highlighting the event were 2-0 wins by both Mick Reyling and Gabe Hallock. Also coming away with wins in their weight classes were Matt Reyling, Mitchell Overvold, and Alex Hallock.
Oden Hallock, Darrin Wersal, Trevor Overvold, Blaine Myrick, Jaden Hughes, and Kasey Seyfert also competed during the mixer, but were unable to defeat their opponents.
The Scotties traveled to Glendive for a dual on Tuesday, and will be heading to Cutbank for an invitational this weekend.
