For the week of Nov. 9 through 18, there were nine motor vehicle stops, seven reports of loose livestock, two reports of lost dogs and one report of a barking dog.

Thursday, Nov. 9

1547 – Reporting party called stating she just got a call from someone who told her there was a small car that came by so fast kids had to jump out of the way. She was going to call the other person back and have her call dispatch for further information.

1620 – Caller reported an extended cab truck is all over the road. Description of travel and description of the vehicle was provided. She is willing to sign a complaint if needed.

Friday, Nov. 10

1210 – Caller requested an officer to his residence. He states he has a bicycle that was left in his yard about a week ago, and believes the bike is stolen.

1639 – Officer requested SRT team be paged out. RCSO is requesting the SRT team for assistance on a male. It was determined later the subject has multiple warrants out of Roosevelt County.

1742 – Reporting party called stating they are moving into a unit. When they brought a load and started to carry things into their condo, a pit-bull from a nearby unit charged at them. The caller would like a deputy to speak to the neighbors about the dog.

1930 – Reporting party called and said a vehicle pulled onto their property and parked. They were leaving and followed the suspicious vehicle. After they crossed the cattle guard, the suspect vehicle pulled over to the side of the road and parked there for several minutes, then moved in. At 1938, dispatch spoke to the reporting party again and stated they were going to try and take a picture of the temp plate. A description of travel was provided. Deputy was notified who would keep an eye out for the vehicle.

Saturday, Nov. 11

0007 – Caller reported when he pulled up to his residence there was a man standing in the alley behind a nearby residence then a vehicle pulled up. The man ran down the alleyway and jumped into the vehicle then took off. A description of the vehicle and travel was provided. An officer was advised of the call. At 2354, the reporting party called back to report an update of direction.

0056 – A suspicious vehicle was reported. Deputy stated there is a van with the doors wide open and nobody around.

0711 – A GMC hit a deer. The airbags deployed but there are no injuries. OnStar operator stated the name of the driver and confirmed she is the only occupant.

0810 – Reporting party called about a cattle hauler that was driving under the speed limit, but was crossing lanes of traffic at times. During the time of the call, a deputy was busy with another call. A couple of minutes later, the reporting party called back and stated the truck and trailer pulled over at a pull off.

1344 – Caller is behind a vehicle and it’s unsafe to get close. The vehicle is going well over 70 miles per hour and pulled away from the caller. They have been crossing the yellow and white lines repeatedly. Direction of travel was provided. At 1348, a deputy stated he believes the vehicle passed him. He has turned around and is attempting to catch up. It was determined to be an elderly driver and the deputy advised to stay in her lane.

1418 – A public assist call was recorded. Deputy advised the driver’s buddy showed up to help push him out of the intersection.

1721 – Reporting party stated a car hit a deer and did not stop. The deer is still alive but clearly injured. Location was provided. At 1726, deputy reported the deer was dead when he arrived. MT DOT local office was notified to let them know the location of the deer.

1835 – Someone reported to Daniels County dispatch that there is a round bale of hay in one lane of traffic. MT DOT in Wolf Point was contacted to see if they have someone that can go out and get it moved. Helena number was ultimately contacted and they will get ahold of someone to go out and get the round bale removed from the highway.

1940 – Caller requested an officer but there was no rush. He stated someone attempted to steal his information off of his phone. The individual was still at the bar. It was determined both parties were impaired. The reporting party stated he saw the other party touching his phone when he was at the pool table. The reporting party took his phone back and took out the Sim card. The other party denied touching his phone and was extremely impaired. The reporting party did not report anything missing off his phone. No further action was taken besides advising the other party to stop touching other people’s phones.

Sunday, Nov. 12

0710 – Reporting party called about a pickup that the last couple of mornings has been driving fast and looked as if it was chasing deer in the area. She lives nearby and could hear and see the vehicle driving up the Cemetery Road. She got into her vehicle this morning and drove to the area, finding the truck parked. Dispatch advised the call would be passed on to the city officer when they signed on. At 1119, officer advised he dropped off statement forms to the reporting party and received a better description of the vehicle. Officer asked to have a warden contact them to speak about harassment of animals.

0944 – Reporting party called about a pick up that looked like it came from private property onto BIA Route 1. The truck also drove into her yard and driveway. She is concerned because she has small children and they are going faster than they should.

1013 – Reporting party called and stated that sometime overnight, two light bars were taken from the top of his truck. He says he has no clue who could have done this. He believes it occurred between 1700 and 0800. He stated the wires were cut and the brackets are still on the vehicle. The information was passed along to a deputy.

1749 – Reporting party called about a female who is obviously intoxicated with a box of wine she is drinking. The female has wandered around the parking lot and back to where the employee parks her vehicle. The reporting party went back around her car to keep an eye on it after telling the female she needed to put the alcohol away. The reporting party is not sure, but stated it seems like the female is on more than just alcohol. At 1806, officer advised the female is intoxicated and is aware of her situation. The female stated she doesn’t’ have anyone to call to come and get her. She refused medical and the officer stated her behavior did not warrant getting her checked out for medical.

1810 – Caller stated they were behind a vehicle with a trailer that didn’t have tail lights lit. She was concerned for them not being seen by traffic. The reporting party stated she was going to stay behind them and follow them the rest of the way to try and let them know about the tail lights. At 1820, reporting party met up with the driver and she let him know about the lights being out.

1901 – Caller reported an intoxicated woman sitting in one of the booths sleeping with her shoes off.

1939 – Reporting party advised the drunk female is back in their bathroom (same female from 1749 call). She stated she is missing her wallet but she believes she will find it later. At 1948, caller stated the woman is still holed up in the bathroom and doesn’t know if she is sleeping. At 1954, the reporting party called back stating the female left the bathroom and gave a death glare as she walked out. While on the line with the caller, the woman took off and it was advised the woman was over by their fence and was attempting to get past the air compressor and into the shed. At 2008, an officer located the female and logged a PBT of 0.163.

2007 – Caller reported an expedition that was speeding and then would slow down. The last time the caller saw the vehicle it was in the ditch when the reporting party passed them. The plate was muddy so didn’t know what state it was from or what the plate was. Roosevelt County was notified due to the vehicle last being seen in the ditch and possibility of it still being in Valley County.

Monday, Nov. 13

1156 – The reporting party called on 911 and wanted to report someone made a verbal threat to him last night. Dispatch stated they were happy to take the information but he would have to call back on the non-emergency line. At 1204, the reporting party called back stating he was at the bar last night when a male, who the reporting party did not know, said he better watch his back because he wanted to take the caller out to the woods and put him in the ground with an excavator. He left the bar and went to his apartment, locking the doors for the night. The reporting party just wanted to have this on record in case something happened at a later time.

1242 – The boyfriend to the reporting party called in on 911 to report his girlfriend getting harassing text messages from a male. She then got on the phone and it was reported that a male was in the shop where she works earlier int eh day. Around 0930, through general conversation, the male learned that the reporting party cleaned house and she gave him her number because he made a comment about getting a hold of her to set something up. He then proceeded to sit int eh lobby area of the shop and immediately started to send text messages and call throughout the day, until she got home. The male continued to send photos and texts. Dispatch advised her to not answer any calls. An officer was notified who will set up a time to meet with the reporting party.

1545 – Reporting party was concerned about observing a female getting out of a car and stumbling back into the vehicle before going inside of the school. The reporting party is not sure but thinks the driver may be under the influence of alcohol. At 1624, officer asked to have the hospital altered that they were bringing one over for a blood draw.

2208 – Caller from a local bar reported that a woman keeps coming into the bar and the reporting party keeps making her leave. She said the woman is super messed up. She doesn’t know if she is drinking or doing drugs. At 2216, officer advised he has the individual and they’re trying to find a place for her to stay tonight. At 2239, deputy advised he’s going to meet with the officer and will take custody of the passenger. A ride will be given back to Frazer.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

1042 – Caller reported a damaged vehicle. As the reporting party was driving by he noticed another vehicle with two occupants, who had pulled up to the vehicle. As he was going by the subject int eh passenger side ducked down. He then noticed as he drove by, they both ran to their own vehicle and sped off eastbound. The caller believes they may have been stealing from the vehicle. The caller also stated the vehicle now has its hazards on and the passenger door was left open. At 1101, a deputy arrived who advised it looks like the passenger window has been broken out, and the rear passenger door is ajar. MHP was notified to see if they want the vehicle towed as it was marked. Deputy also stated there are wires that are hanging like maybe someone removed some speakers from this vehicle also. It was determined another trooper will come and take photos of the new damage of the vehicle. The vehicle will then be moved from the current location.

1144 – Caller requested an officer for a motor home in the underpass.

1738 – Caller reported there is a deer that looks as if someone hit it. The deer is attempting to drag itself off the highway.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

2002 – Caller said a neighbor called about 30 minutes ago and was making threats concerning her dogs barking. He stated he’s going to continue to call when he hears them parking and also stated he’s going to get loud speakers to provoke her dogs and get flood lights to shine up her house. He also mentioned that he may come to her yard with a gun to shoot the dogs. The caller was patched up to a deputy.

2221 – MHP spoke with a deputy about a SUV, which came upon a bobcat that was out of gas. The suv barked and did a hard right to avoid the bobcat, but felt they should have seen it because the flashers were on. At 2223, deputy advised she was unable to locate.

2320 – Reporting party said she came across three cars pulled over on the side of the road and another vehicle was in the ditch. She thinks there was a motor vehicle accident. It was determined law enforcement is aware of the situation as the vehicle had lost a tire earlier.

Thursday, Nov. 16

0800 – A male called in wanting to know if anyone had turned in a set of keys with about 12 keys on it. A description of the king ring and some keys were provided. He believes the keys were lost either the 9th or the 10th. Dispatch stated they would call if they are turned in.

1610 – Reporting party called requesting an officer at the store for a male. A description was provided as well as location. She states some customers came in and requested this for a male causing a disturbance. At 1620, officer advised the subject is extremely intoxicated. He was turned over to his girlfriend’s sister.

Friday, Nov. 17

0516 – Reporting party stated a deer was hit and is right in the middle of the road, dead.

1323 – A fire was reported. Fire command advises smoke is showing but there is no active flame. Law enforcement was requested on scene to help keep people out of the residence. At 1353, fire chief advised all units clear of the scene.
