Oct. 10 at Harlem

This match was a good rematch chance against a team that has grown a lot this season. This is also one of the few teams we play twice in our regular season; In fact, I believe they are the only team we see twice. We had a few hiccups in our serving with 11 errors in three sets. Those are hard to give up but we continue to talk about the end of the season and how important serves will become in our tournament games. I thought we did a good job of distributing our sets to our hitters and made some good plays overall. We won the match in three but the scores were closer than the first time we played back in early September.

Saturday, Oct. 13, we played a doubleheader taking on Culbertson at 1 p.m. and MonDak at 5 p.m. These were both conference matches for us. It was nice to walk away with two wins and doing it in three sets for each match. 

Culbertson match we were really rolling with controlled passing and our setters were getting the ball right where the hitters needed it.

In the MonDak match we started a little slower but we also encountered some height which we didn’t have to deal with all season. Gave us some good looks and different ways to hit around tall blocks.

We are looking forward to the end of the regular season this next week with one conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 17, against Frazer at 5 p.m. and closing out the season with a match against Chinook on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 5 p.m. in Whitewater.
