VBS At Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Nashua

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashua, hosted a community Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 31 to Aug. 4, from 1:30 p.m. To 4:30 p.m each day.

The theme this year was "Twists and Turns: following Jesus changes the game."

Our scripture verse for the week was, "Make your ways known to me, O Lord, teach me your paths." Based on Psalm 25:4.

All of the Bible lessons, Bible stories, and crafts reinforced the teaching of Psalm 25:4

We had eight students attend our VBS. We also had Taylon and Michael, from Boy Scout troop 861 helping with Bible school. They were working on tenderfoot and Boy Scout badges focusing on God and community. Also helping us was Sawyer, who became our Master Prop person. He designed out set for our program. He is also studying at Montana Tech, hoping to pursue a degree in working with children.

On Friday the students put on a program for their families. It was well attended.

Thank you to Myrna, Bill, Sharon, Julie, Bev, Sawyer, Taylon, and Michael, all those who provided snacks throughout the week, all the families who sent their kids to VBS, and the support of the community for making VBS such a success.

See you next summer!
