Glasgow Stockyards' Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of March 10, showed 434 cattle with cows and bulls steady on light test. Utility and commercial cows brought in $68 to $81.50. Canner and cutter cows brought in $57 - $68 while bulls brought in $85-$105.

There was no test on feed cattle. Bred heifers $1,610 - $1,725. Three-four-five year old bred cows no test; 6-8 year old bred cows brought in $1,225 - $1,500 and short-term cows brought in $1,025-$1,185.

March 24 is the Rough Country Breeders and 3Y Bar Cattle Company Production Auctions and All Class Cattle Auction.

The Rough Country will have Koss Angus 35 yearling Angus bulls, Marin Red Angus 15 yearling Red Angus bulls and 13 Bangs vaccinated Red Angus replacement heifers.

3Y Bar Cattle Company will have 20 yearling and 20 two-year old Angus bulls.

Also tentative 80 black/bwf running age bred cows.

March 26 is the Glen Rohde retirement auction with an awesome lineup of well maintained farm equipment.

March 31 is the Gibbs Red Angus and Northern Lites Red Angus Production Auctions and the All Class Cattle auction.
