Frazer Boys 0-2

Frazer’s boys basketball team dropped two more games this past weekend, losing to Scobey 79-23, and dropping an 80-12 game to the Red Hawks in Froid.

Scobey hit double-digit scoring in each quarter as they claimed the win in Frazer. The Spartans led 17-5, 37-10, and 66-22 at the end of the first three quarters.

Ryker Ackerman and Jonathan Jackson each put up 8 points for Frazer. Keein Ackerman added 3 points and Blue Fettig and Joseph Beston each connected for a bucket from the field.

Frazer had only 12 fouls, split evenly between the halves. R. Ackerman was called for four and Jackson had three. Fettig and Beston had two each and K. Ackerman was called for one infraction.

Saturday night, the Red Hawks ran up the score early, leading 32-4 at the end of the first and 54-7 at the half. Froid-Lake shut Frazer out in the third quarter while they added 13 points to their side of the big board. Frazer put up 5 points in the final eight minutes but Froid-Lake added another 14.

The Bearcubs had only seven fouls, three in the second half. Beston was called for four and Jackson, R. Ackerman and Jarvis Goodbird had one each.

Jackson scored 5 points for the Bearcubs. Ty Fourstar added 4 and R. Ackerman 3 points.

Frazer travels to Poplar Friday, Jan. 28, for a girls’ varsity game at 6 p.m., followed by the boys’ varsity at 7:30 p.m.
