Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Thank You to Our Heroes

Dear Valley County,

Our healthcare workers are on the front lines of the battle against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that is rapidly spreading through our nation. Our doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, technicians, EMTs, pharmacists, and other staff are rising to the occasion and caring for our most vulnerable populations.

Our healthcare workers show up every day to take care of people in our community. We see this in our role as members of the FMDH Board of Trustees, and could not be more proud or humbled by their dedication and selflessness. We wholeheartedly support our staff as they willingly put themselves in harm's way during this unprecedented crisis. We strongly encourage the community to support them as well.

We want to extend particular thanks and recognition to Dr. Anne Millard, one of our family medicine practitioners. She not only dedicates her time and skill to FMDH, but also serves Valley County as its Health Officer. We fully support her in the difficult decisions she has had to make in that role: her actions to keep our county safe are a reflection of her remarkable care for our community.

The FMDH Board of Trustees extends sincere thanks to each member of our medical staff, clinical staff, and all non-clinical staff for the sacrifices you make every day, and especially during this pandemic. Your dedication, commitment, and courage deserve our deepest gratitude, admiration, and respect. Your service to our community makes all the difference.
