The Glasgow City-County Library's summer reading program, "A Universe of Stories" is officially underway.

On June 20, the first program for children age 0 to 6 occurred encouraging children to learn about the galaxy. In addition to finger plays and stories, children had the opportunity to learn about space-themed yoga positions by guest Toni LaGree and created a galaxy bottle, comprised of baby oil, food coloring, stars and glitter.

Other upcoming events include "Zoom Zoom, Zoom, We're Going to the Moon" on June 27 and the MT PBS Library Tour on July 3. The tour requires pre-registration at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/glasgow-2019-summer-library-tour-tickets-61458598322.

The Fort Peck Summer Theatre will also be traveling to the library on Tuesday, July 9, with their Theatre for Young Audiences production of Pinocchio.

For more information on the summer reading program, contact the library at 228-2731, or stop by at 408 3rd Ave. S, Glasgow.
