Juice Fischer sends Kyle Stein home during a rainy Saturday game at the Aaron Chatten Memorial Softball Tournament.

The 8th Annual Aaron Chatten Memorial Softball Tournament was held June 15-17 in Fort Peck, with 11 teams competing for the top prize.

Games began Friday night and continued through Sunday, although things were delayed a bit on Saturday due to rainy weather and poor field conditions. The conditions at the field also prompted the cancellation of the home run derby, which was originally scheduled to be held Saturday evening.

The teams returned to the diamond on Sunday to play out a single-elimination bracket.

The Out Crowd, with players from Miles City and Billings, defeated #Skoden out of Billings 16-8 in the championship game.

The Out Crowd also boasted both the female and male MVPs of the tournament, making a clean sweep of the hardware.
