Lady Golfers Earn Hardware in Malta

Scottie senior Lauren Runningen attempts a putt during the Whitewater Invitational held in Malta. The Scottie girls tied with Plentywood for first place.

Glasgow's golfers were in Malta for the Whitewater Invitational on Saturday, April 16. The lady Scotties earned some hardware when they tied with Plentywood for first place with a team total of 359.

Leading the scoring for the girls was senior Amy Nelson with 112, followed by Lauren Runningen, 121; Heidi Moon, 126; Lexi Pehlke, 132.

For the boys, Cody Ross took the top spot for Glasgow with a 98. Max Carpenter and Blaine Myrick each shot a 108, and Oden Hallock finished with a 110.

The Scottie golfers will host their own invitational here on Friday before heading back to Malta on Saturday.
