Kevin Michael 'Doc' Ellis

Kevin Michael "Doc" Ellis, 57, was returned to the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2015, at his home in Nashua, Mont., after suffering a sudden heart attack.

He was born July 6, 1957, in Pierre, S.D. He was employed in the shipyard as a welder in Seattle, Wash. He drove cab in Kitsap County in Bremerton, Wash., for many years.

He earned his degree in computer networking at Spokane Community College and later worked as a call center IT technician at Getronics, in Spokane, WA. He enjoyed nurturing and cultivating plants in his garden and building computers. During high school at Lincoln Southwest High School in Lincoln, Neb., he was on the fencing team.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Ellis, and a sister, Mary Ellis.

Survivors include his mother, Virginia Ellis, of Lincoln, Neb.; four brothers, Steve Ellis of Florida, Paul Ellis of Ohio, Rob Ellis of Lincoln, and Mike Ellis of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Rachel Ellis, of Minneapolis; his twin sisters, Margie Ellis of Boston, Mass., and Julie Ellis of Lincoln, Neb., and a sister, Pippi "Jenny" Konstanski and her husband, Carlos, of Ft. Collins, Colo.; two daughters, Nikole Rachelle Ellis and Kendra Thomas and her husband, Jeff, of Morenci, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Morgan Windsor, Jaysin Thomas and Kathryn Thomas, all of Morenci; and a stepson, Joe Ellis, of Gilbert, Ariz.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at Queen of Angels Church in Nashua with Father Jose Valliparambil officiating. Burial was in the Nashua Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Thomas, Forest "Buffalo" Witham, Paul Ellis and Dennis Reese.

Bell Funeral Home in Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
