Hunter Education At Glasgow And Hinsdale In March

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunter education course dates have been set for the Glasgow and Hinsdale areas. To be eligible to hunt during the 2015 season, hunters must be 12 years old by Jan. 16, 2016. To be eligible for certification, students must be at least 11 years old on the first day of the class.

The first class in Glasgow will be the week of March 2 to 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Eastside School, with the field day on Saturday, March 7, from 8 to11:30 a.m.

The second class in Glasgow will be the week of March 23 to 27 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Eastside School, with the field day on Saturday, March 28, from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

The Hinsdale class will be held the week of March 16 to 20, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Hinsdale school, with the field day on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In addition, a tentative date for a bowhunter education course has been scheduled for April 6 to 11. A prospective bowhunter may still apply for special archery permits (due March 16) and take the bowhunter course in April. Stay tuned for further information on the bowhunter course.
