The Glasgow High School band in 1936 was directed by an H.J. Schiesser. At this time, the school was overflowing with students who came from all over the nation as their families found work at the construction of the Fort Peck Dam. A new building was constructed in 1915, but that building was overcrowded within 10 years of construction. As you can tell by this band picture, there wasn't a shortage of Scotties. Demolition of the school took place around 1983-1984.
