    The Elks National Foundation is now accepting applications for the Legacy Awards $4,000 scholarships, which are available to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. For the 2025 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2022, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2022, is eligible to apply.     The Montana Office of Public instruction recently allocated $1.5 million in Federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to Montana teachers. Through a partnership with DonorsChoose, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit, they offered $500 direct grants to all K-12 public school teachers in Montana.     The Glasgow High School Educational Trust recently awarded financial aid to 21 GHS graduates who are returning to trade schools or colleges this fall. They attend 12 different schools in five different states and are pursuing very diverse fields of study.
