    The Scottie volleyball team rolled through the District 2B Tournament in Poplar this past weekend undefeated, topping their run with a championship victory over the Malta M-ettes. The trophy is the fourth claimed by Glasgow in as many years, and the 20th one in their 31 years in the district. Glasgow started the tournament with a bye as the number one seed.     The Porcupines saw their 2022 season come to an end at the District 1C Tournament in Plentywood, held Oct. 27 to 29. Nashua fell to Culbertson in the first round then defeated Frazer to advance to the third round where they lost to Fairview. Nashua entered the tournament as the 11th seed against sixth-seeded Culbertson. The Porcupines took the match to five sets but fell in the end, 14-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 4-15.     The Lions ended their volleyball season at the District 1C tournament in Plentywood, Oct. 27-29. The 12th seed Lustre Christian squad did not go down without a fight, notching one win in their three matches.     Frazer’s 2022 volleyball season came to an end at the District 1C tournament in Plentywood on the opening day. The 14th seeded Bearcubs faced the third seed Savage Warriors Oct. 27.   • Scottie Field Recharged Continues With Fundraising Efforts

    The Scottie Field Recharged Committee met on Oct. 24 at the Glasgow Chamber Office. They are hoping to have professional plans and cost figures by the first of the 2023 year at the latest. Fundraising efforts started in September and the committee wants to continue to run an aggressive funding campaign for one year to raise as much funds as possible.     The highest score possible in a game of bowling is 300 and when achieved the bowler throws a perfect game. Chris George, of Glasgow, achieved that on Oct. 18 during Tuesday night bowling league at El Cor Del Lanes.
