Scottie Field Recharged Continues With Fundraising Efforts

The Scottie Field Recharged Committee met on Oct. 24 at the Glasgow Chamber Office. They are hoping to have professional plans and cost figures by the first of the 2023 year at the latest.

Fundraising efforts started in September and the committee wants to continue to run an aggressive funding campaign for one year to raise as much funds as possible. The committee also wants to price new men and women bathrooms with a concessions facility. These additions will be attached directly to the weight room addition.

Opportunity Bank of Montana became the first official supporter of the project on Sept. 23 with their donation of $500 out of their employee jeans fund. Other donations followed with the Aaron Chatten Memorial Softball Tournament donating $1,000 on Sept. 28, followed by the Glasgow Montana All Class Reunion committee contributing $5,000 on Oct. 24.

If you would like to donate to the project, contact Glasgow Athletic director Brenner Flaten at [email protected] or by phone 406-263-7909. You can also mail tax deductible donations to Glasgow High School Attn: Scottie Field Recharged PO Box 28 Glasgow, MT 59230 OR to the Scottie Booster Club Attn: Scottie Field Recharged PO Box 735 Glasgow, MT 59230.
