This year's Laser Regatta will kick off on Friday, Aug. 19, at the Fort Peck Marina. The festivities will begin with a dryland presentation on the water practices, followed by dinner. The races begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will be held close to the dam, weather permitting. The Valley County C.A.R.E. coalition recently held a townhall meeting at the hospital to discuss the results of a survey they conducted this April. The survey was conducted with the purpose of asking questions about healthcare and how to improve access to it, as well as other questions about our general wellbeing.
