The Glasgow City-County Library increased their hours to offer more time to serve our community. Starting Jan. 2, 2020, the library began opening at 9 a.m., Monday through Friday. With spring just around the corner, the end of winter is finally in sight. But with spring comes more daylight and warmer temperatures and that means ice conditions will begin to deteriorate. William "Punk" DuBeau Sr. passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at the age of 79. The family has tentatively scheduled a memorial service for Punk and his wife, Carol, on June 20, 2020, in Glasgow, Mont. Time and place to be announced. Punk was born on March 12, 1940, in Glasgow, to Ed and Hazel DuBeau. He attended school and grew up in the Fort Peck area. He eventually met Carol and they married in November of 1965. Mary Katherine (Dazell) Tihista, 84, beloved mother, wife and grandmother, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, after a long-term illness in the presence of her loving family. Born on July 31, 1935, she was the oldest of three daughters born to Robert and Clara Dazell, who had settled in Glasgow, Mont., after working on the Fort Peck Dam.
