Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
In loving memory of Carol (Boston) Stein, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, surrounded by her family in Great Falls, Mont. She was 81 years old. Carol was born on March 16, 1943, to the late Albert and Ellen (Fullerton) Boston.
No services will be held per Carol's wishes.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her children, Curt (Kelly), Dawn (Broadway), and Jackie (Shane); brother Dick Boston; and sister Judy (Boston) Van DeVeer. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and the joyful matriarch of numerous great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sally; brother Jack; husband Ron; and her parents-in-law Roman and Flossie Stein.
Carol's warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met. Her boundless compassion and giving nature were evident to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her quick wit and infectious humor, which brought light to even the darkest days.
Carol and her beloved husband, Ron, shared 55 years of marriage, raising their children in the scenic landscapes of Montana. Later in life, they made their home in the Pembina, N.D., area where they created cherished memories for over two decades. In 2021, Carol moved to Great Falls to be closer to her son, Curt, where she continued to spread love and joy to all who crossed her path.
Carol's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the countless lives she has touched. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with everyone she encountered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to your local animal shelter in honor of Carol's lifelong commitment to her pets.
Carol/mom/grandma, your presence will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. May you rest in peace knowing the profound impact you had on all who knew you.
