Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The Hinsdale FFA held its 90th banquet on May 6. All 22 FFA members attended and contributed shop projects to the silent auction. There were wooden planters, welded horseshoe projects, and donated baskets from local businesses.
We enjoyed an excellent meal, which the parents and younger members served, and afterward, we handed out awards to all FFA teams. Our freshman Greenhand winner Brynlie Boreson boldly presented the FFA Creed.
The State Farmer degrees went to Zora Holt and Andrew Boucher, our two seniors graduating at the end of the month.
At the State FFA Convention in Billings, Coy Bowman, Walker Albus, Zora Holt, and Andrew Boucher received their State Degrees, which is the highest degree the State offers.
We inducted the new officers: Kade Strommen as president, Coy Bowman as vice president, Lylith Bear as secretary, Teonna Funk as treasurer, Addison Idler as reporter, Brynlie Boreson as sentinal, and CharLee McColly as parliamentarian.
The new officers are working towards goals for the upcoming year.
FFA members will continue to work on their Supervised Agricultural Experiences throughout the summer months.
