North Country and Lustre Christian Advance to Eastern Divisional

The North Country Mavericks defeated Lustre Christian and Scobey/Opheim at the District 3C Tournament in Glasgow this past weekend to both maintain their perfect record and bring home another District championship.
Lustre Christian defeated Frazer in the first round and fell to North Country in the second round to move to the back side of the bracket. The Lions defeated Dodson in loser-out action to advance to the consolation game where they fended off Circle in overtime to take third place.
Nashua and Frazer saw their seasons come to an end in Glasgow. The Porcupines lost to Scobey/Opheim Wednesday in the opening round and fell to Dodson in loser-out play Thursday. The Bearcubs lost to Lustre Christian in the first round and were defeated by Circle in loser-out action Friday.

The Eastern C Divisional Tournament will be held in Glasgow Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 29 – March 2. Lustre Christian will open against the Bainville Bulldogs at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29. North Country will play the Savage Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Plentywood plays Circle to start the tournament at noon on Thursday followed by Scobey/Opheim against Richey/Lambert at 1:30 p.m.
