Madison Lamb placed second in the girls 140 lbs. at the Dylan Humes Memorial Tournament in Moorcroft, Wyo.
William Kirkland earned second place at the Dylan Humes Memorial Tournament in Moorcroft, Wyo., in the boys 157 lbs. category.
The Scottie boys wrestling team placed eighth at the 2024 Dylan Humes Memorial Tournament in Moorcroft, Wyo., this past weekend. Glasgow put up 85 team points to take the placing out of 28 teams in attendance.
William Kirkland led the boys with a second place finish at 157 lbs. Khye Gamas placed fourth at 150 lbs. and Michael King took fifth at 165 lbs. Cody Kuka earned sixth at 113 lbs. while Makiya Plummer placed eighth at 106 lbs.
The Glasgow girls earned 15th place out 25 teams with 32 team points. Madison Lamb led the girls with a second place showing at 140 lbs. Avery Pedersen took fifth place in the 115 lbs. category.
Ernie Vandall led the JV team with a first place showing at 252-264 lbs. Tyler King, 119-122, Joaquin Torres, 121-127, and James Landles, 158-171, all earned second places in JV action. Gabe Munroe took third in the JV 176-185 lbs. competition.
The Glasgow grapplers attended a dual in Glendive Jan. 23, but results were unavailable at press time.
The Scotties will participate in the Malta Invitational Saturday, Jan. 27, with action beginning at 9:30 a.m.
