The Valley County Pioneer Museum is closed for the month of January.

Nemont Manor has activities scheduled throughout the month for the entire community as well as the residents of Nemont Manor. If you would like a calendar, please contact 406-228-4306 or e-mail [email protected] and they will mail one to you.

Visitors to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center can call for an appointment weekdays the remainder of the year and dependent upon staff availability, 406-526-3411 ext 3755.

Thursday, Jan. 11

Free Hearing Clinic at the Court St. Building, 334 W. Court Street, Glasgow. By appointment only by calling 888-698-5480.

5:30 – 7 p.m. - Free Blood Pressure Screening at the Glasgow VFW. FMDH EMS offers FREE monthly community blood pressure screenings to help check your blood pressure.

6 p.m. - Auxiliary will meet at the VFW Post 3107, 540087 Highway 2, Glasgow with VFW meeting following at 7 p.m. Agenda items include building cleaning, membership and fundraising. All members and anyone interested in joining are encouraged to attend.

Saturday, Jan. 13

1 – 4 p.m. - 6th Annual Glasgow Elks Chili Cookoff. Cooking on site from 1 to 4 p.m .; chili tasting for the public at 4 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 14

1 -3 p.m. - Nashua Lions Roller Skating at the Nashua Civic Center. Skating will cost $2 which includes skates. Pop, water and popcorn are available to purchase. Skating will be available every Sunday in January.

Monday, Jan. 15

Martin Luther King Day

In observance of the holiday, the Valley County Courthouse will be closed.

Tuesday, Jan. 16

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Free Blood Pressure Screening at the Fort Peck Fish Hatchery. FMDH EMS offers FREE monthly community blood pressure screenings to help check your blood pressure.

Noon - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will have their annual turkey dinner potluck at the Fish Hatchery. Bring complementary potluck items. All seniors are welcome.

5 p.m. - Due to the Martin Luther King Day Holiday, the Glasgow City Council will hold their regular council meeting in the Council Chambers located in the Civic Center.

5 p.m. - Opheim Regular Scheduled School Board Meeting at the school.
