Scottie Boys Fall in Rocky Boy

The Scottie boys basketball team dropped a tight 75-70 contest to the Rocky Boy Morning Stars Dec. 22 on the road. The Scottie boys are now 1-0, 3-3 overall this season.

Wyatt Babb led Glasgow with 21 points followed by Cade Hudyma with 18 points. Myles Yoakam hit three from downtown for 9 while Nick Solorzano sank 8 points. Toryn Richards and Connor Huydma both added 7 points. Babb and Ca. Huydma also led in rebounds with eight each. Richards pulled down seven boards, Solorzano and Yoakam five each, and Co. Hudyma three rebounds.

Richards and Solorzano had five assists each to lead the Scotties followed by Babb with three and Co. Hudyma and Yoakam one each. Yoakam had three steals for Glasgow. Richards, Co. Hudyma, Babb and Solorzano added one takeaway a piece.

Glasgow hosts the Glendive Red Devils Friday, Jan. 5, for boys C, girls and boys JV, and varsity girls and boys games beginning at 3 p.m. in Scottie Gymnasium. Saturday, Jan. 6, the Scotties will be in Malta for games against the M-ettes and Mustangs.
