Glasgow Speech and Drama Take Home Hardware At Plentywood Meet

Frazer Places In Top 10 In Forsyth The Week Before

The Glasgow Speech and Drama team is keeping up with their winning streak leading into the holiday break. They traveled to Plentywood on Dec. 16, where they came in first for the third week in a row in the Class B Speech Sweeps. They also placed third in the Class B Drama Sweeps.

Helping the team take first place once again was Leon Edwards in dramatic solo, Gabe Proctor in humorous oral interpretation (HOI) and Connor Whitmer in spontaneous oral interpretation (SPOI). In humerus duo Olivia Helland and Ash James placed eighth.

"It was an excellent day of hard work paying off today!," stated Glasgow coaches Carla Swenson and Sheena Wilcox.

The weekend before, Dec. 9, six Frazer students traveled to Forsyth to compete in their speech and drama invitational.

In SPOI, Marick Old Person placed sixth and De'mon Grandchamp followed by placing seventh.

In HOI Takoa Old Person placed ninth

In dramatic interpretation Kalianna Blout placed ninth

In dramatic solo Ryan Beston placed 11th with Dallas Blount following in 12th.
