Frazer Cross Country

Frazer closed out their cross country regular season Friday at the Harlem Invitational. The boys placed seventh out of nine teams with 158 points, setting three personal records in the process.

Jarvis Goodbird led the Bearcubs with an 11th place finish out of 78 runners. He ran an 18:25.88, a personal best for the sophomore. Gabe Beston placed 25th at 20:52.65 and Cassius Smoker ran a 22:58.48 for 50th place.

Travis Long also set a new personal record, running a 23:10.77 for 54th place. Christopher Fox finished directly behind him, also with a personal best, at 23:12.74. Joseph Beston finished the course in 29:13.43 for 78th place.

Shakira Beston ran a 30:50.32 to take 47th place in the girls race.

Goodbird, Smoker, G. Beston, Long and Fox will represent the Frazer boys at the State Cross Country meet while S. Beston and Isabelle Even will run the girls race in the final meet of the season.

The All-Class State Cross Country Championship will be held at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell Saturday, Oct. 21. The Class C boys will race first at 11 a.m.. Class C girls hit the course at 11:50 a.m.
