The Lions split their volleyball matches this past week. Lustre Christian defeated the Bearcubs in Frazer in three sets 25-2, 25-20 25-6 Sept. 14. On the road in Culbertson Sept. 16, the Lions took the Cowgirls to five sets but fell 16-25, 11-25, 25-29, 25-12, 9-15.
Lustre hosted the Wolf Point JV squad but scores were unavailable at press time.
The Lions host Froid/Lake Thursday, Sept. 21, for a junior high game at 4:30 p.m. and a varsity game at 6 p.m. against the Redhawks. Friday, Sept. 22, Lustre hosts the Brockton Warriors for a junior high game at 5 p.m. and a 6 p.m varsity game against the Warriors.
Lustre will be in Plentywood Friday, Sept. 29, for a doubleheader. The Lions will play the host Wildcats at 3:45 p.m and take on the Richey-Lambert Fusion at 5:15 p.m.
