With the assistance of Eve Stone (r), Elle Stone (l), Glasgow High School teacher Jim Stone (not pictured) and other volunteers, six planters were placed throughout downtown at the beginning of June as a way to beautify the downtown area during the summer season. This project was funded by Glasgow City Beautification, Two Rivers Economic Development, Glasgow TBID and the Glasgow Chamber. In addition to these six planters, there are plans to add four more next year.
