Kae (Lythgoe) Markle, longtime resident of Glasgow, Mont., died at the age of 92 on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
Kae was born to John and Annie Lythgoe on Nov. 4, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She spent her childhood there and later moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana. While there she met Robert "Tag" Markle and they married in 1950. The same year they moved to Glasgow.
Kae enjoyed exercise, golf, playing bridge, traveling and meeting her friends of coffee. She looked forward to spending time with her children and their families. Her family looked forward to her cooking and baking skills.
She is survived by four children, Debbie (Tee) of SLC, Utah, Jeff (Lori) of Kennewick, Wash., Laurie (Jim) of Sundance, Wyo., and Lisa (Randy) of Billings, Mont. She has 11 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, GayAnne Hainline, of Missoula; and many nieces and nephews.
The last few years, she enjoyed the company of friends and staff at Prairie Ridge.
Memorials may be sent the Glasgow Pool Fund, Markle Ambulance Fund or a charity of your choice.
