Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

T-33 Aircraft Shines at Valley County Museum

The rehabilitation of the T-33 aircraft static outdoor display has been completed.

The project was funded through a tourism grant from Department of Commerce as well as contributions from City of Glasgow, Valley County Historical Society, Glasgow TBID, Two Rivers Economic Development, Glasgow Chamber, Friends of the Museum, Montana Aviation/Boeing Co. and Valley County Museum Board. Work was done by Straube's Aircraft Services.

The aircraft was used at the former Glasgow Air Force Base and played a large part in the history of our community. It is on loan from the US National Air Force Museum and serves as a showpiece to draw visitors and travelers on US Hwy 2 to the local museum.

Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the completion of this project on July 8, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Valley County Museum.

Refreshments will be served by the Glasgow Tourism Business Improvement District.
