Hi-Line Hyzers Host Doubles Tournament

Hi-Line Hyzers hosted their now-annual Doubles Tournament June 17 as part of the Longest Dam Race weekend events. Tanner Reiter of Great Falls, Mont., and Daniel Vandall, of Wolf Point, Mont., earned first place at the 2023 event with a total of 47 strokes (-7 to par). Zach Moser and Mitchell Buechler, both of Glasgow, closed out the course with 48 strokes (-6 to par) to take second place. Coming in third was Hunter Gordon, of Sidney, Mont., and Lloyd Smith, of Glendive, Mont. The duo golfed a 49 (-5 to par). Hi-Line Hyzers President Kevin Vogel, of Fort Peck said, "The tournament was a smashing success! With the amazing partnership we have with Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, we were able to offer this tournament for free to the community and had a total of 27 players come out and enjoy the morning alongside all of the action and festivities of the Longest Dam Race." Hi-Line Hyzers will host the Throw the Dam Open at the Fortress Saturday, Aug. 19. The MT Points series event is also a Professional Disc Golf Association sanctioned event.
