Frazer's Cassius Smoker runs the 800 meters during the District 3C Track Meet held May 13 in Glasgow. He competed in the 3200 meters at the Eastern C Divisional Track Meet held in Lambert May 18.
Frazer's track and field season concluded at the Eastern C Divisional Meet in Lambert May 18. Cassius Smoker, Travis Long, Joseph Beston, Christopher Fox and Ty Fourstar competed for the Bearcub boys while Angel Nelligan, Baily Beston, Shakira Beston and Isabelle Even represented the Frazer girls.
BOYS
Smoker placed 11th in the 3200 meters, running a 14'57.99. Long, J. Beston, Fox and Fourstar placed 10th in the 4x400 relay with a 5'07.46 time.
J. Beson placed 12th in shot put with a 33-07.00 throw. Fox took 14th in discus at 72-00. Fourstar threw 112-10 in javelin for 12th place and cleared 5-02.00 in the high jump for 14th place.
GIRLS
Even placed 15th in the 200 meters at 32.35 while Nelligan and S. Beston earned 12th and 13th respectively in the 1600 meters. Nelligan ran a 7:26.88 while S. Beston came in at 7:32.14.
Nelligan, B. Beston, S. Beston and Even ran a 1:03.33 for ninth place in the 4x100 relay. Nelligan placed 14th in shot put with a 26-09.00 throw.
Frazer looks to return all athletes to the team next season, losing no one to graduation this year.
