Scottie Golf Hits The Greens

Boys Take First At Northern B Invitational

After spending the first week of practice at the simulator a month ago, the Glasgow Scottie golfers were ready to get some outside competition in, under the direction of fourth year head coach Todd Truscott.

The team traveled to Billings on April 13 to compete in the Northern B Invitational, hosted by Glasgow, at the Yegen Golf Club in Billings. Though the golfers were only able to get 12 holes in before the meet was canceled due to weather, the Scottie golfers made every hole count.

The Scottie Boys took first place at the Invitational, with Riley Smith leading the team with 39 and Eli Feezell shooting a 44.

The Scottie Girls only suited three players so they were not eligible for a team score.

The golfers then traveled to Shelby on April 17 where the Scottie Boys again finished in first place while the Scottie girls finished in third place, with Shelby taking first and Malta taking second.

According to Mix-93/KLTZ Stan Ozark, the Scottie Boys were led by Riley Smith and Eli Feezell who finished tied for sixth place each shooting an 89. Keigan Ingram tied for ninth with a 92 and Connor Koski shot a 97 and finished in 15th place.
