Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Delegates from the Fort Peck Rural County Water District (FPRCWD) put their water to the taste test at the Montana Rural Water Systems’ s (MRWS) annual conference held March 22 through 24, in Great Falls and walked away with the Best Tasting Water in Montana award!
As the winner of the water competition, an FPRCWD delegate receives an MRWS all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C., to attend the National Rural Water Association Rally on February 6 through 8, 2024, and enter their water in the Great American Water Taste Test sponsored by Aquastore.
MRWS held two separate rounds of water testing during its statewide conference to confirm a winner from the ten water districts who provided water samples. Using a scale of 1 – 5, judges ranked the water samples based on: (1) clarity, (2) odor and (3) taste.
