The deadline to submit applications for Montana Farmers Union scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 each has been extended to April 17.
The annual scholarships are offered through MFU as part of the organization’s commitment to education and include the Bud Daniels Memorial Scholarship, the John Korsbeck Memorial Scholarship, and the Cascade County-wide Farmers Union Local, Chouteau County Farmers Union Local and Flathead County-wide Farmers Union Local scholarships.
The scholarships are available to students throughout their collegiate careers. Current college students and high school seniors are encouraged to apply.
Montana Farmers Union members also can apply for the Stanley Moore Scholarship, a $1,500 scholarship offered by the Farmers Union Industries Foundation, and scholarships through National Farmers Union Foundation, ranging from $1,500 to $2,000. Applications for NFU scholarships are open through April 1 and available at nfu.org/education/scholarships/.
