A Successful 25th Annual Ice Fishing Derby

The Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture held the 25th Annual Ice Fishing Derby Feb. 4. The Derby was held at the Fishing Access Site-The Dredge Cuts Trout Pond located on Highway 117. A total of 151 holes with 59 participants.

Guaranteed for first place for $2,000 was Greg Ganje of Minot, N.D. He caught a 10.8lb Northern at 2:48 p.m.

Second place for $500 was Clay Dieffenbacher, and Dane and Morgan Anderson, from Fort Peck, with at .56lb Perch caught at 12:43 p.m.

Third place for $325 was Larry Branson from Wolf Point, with a .38lb Rainbow Trout caught at 1:26 p.m.

Fourth place for $250 was Cliff and Tine Wakefield, from Fort Peck, with a .38lb Rainbow Trout caught at 1:10 p.m.

Fifth place for $150 was Julious Lopez, from Glasgow, with a .32lb Perch caught at 12:10 p.m.

Sixth place for $100 was Joel Reagor, from Miles City, with a .30lb Perch caught at 12:39 p.m.
