David L. Odegard

David L Odegard, age 66, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, in Wharton, Ohio, surrounded by his family.

Arrangements for a memorial service in Glasgow will be made at a later date.

David was born March 28, 1956, in Glasgow, to the late Elwood and Vera (Hanson) Odegard. David married Robin Kirby in 1977. They divorced in 1986. David owned Odegard Construction before turning it over to his son in 1999.

David is survived by his five children, David (Kathy) Odegard, Erica (Lane) Cotton, all of Wharton, Melissa (Cody) Odegard, of Thompson Falls, Mont., Caleb Mason, of Glasgow, and Soren Odegard, of Billings, Mont.; 24 Grandchildren, Jakobee (Krista) Cotton, David Bumgarner, Joseph Bumgarner, Melissa Cotton, Lexy Barnett, Cameron Mason, Jolissa Cotton, Elayna Cotton, Riley Ashpole, Abigail Odegard, Calvin Mason, Isaiah Cotton, Hannah Odegard, Erica Fowler, Luke Odegard, Andrew Odegard, Sophie Odegard-Ashpole, Matthew Odegard, Conner Odegard-Ashpole, Sarah Grace Odegard, Cherry Mason, Legacy Odegard, Odeya Best, Henry Best; siblings Scotty Odegard, of Fort Shaw, Mont., Karen (Greg) Vosen, of Great Falls, Mont., and his long time girlfriend Alicia Zeller, of Glasgow.
