Scottie Recharged Committee Releases New Ways To Donate

With the kick-off to the Glasgow Holiday season this past weekend during the Christmas Stroll, the Scottie Field Recharged Committee has been busy behind the scenes to help make the gift of giving to the non-profit easy to reach the goal of new and improved athletic facilities at Glasgow High School.

On Dec. 1, the committee released ways to give via Paypal, QR Code, in addition to the other already established methods of contacting Glasgow Athletic Director Brenner Flaten and mailing in the donation.

The committee has also established Partnership Levels in the cause, starting with the Starting Blocks Level for donations of $1 to $199; Chain Crew Level includes your name on a permanent sign at the entry of the complex and website recognition for donations of $200 to $499; Acceleration Level includes name on permanent sign at the entry of the complex, website recognition and one adult activity ticket for the opening year for donations of $500 to $1,999; Field Goal Level includes name on permanent plaque at the entry of the complex, website recognition and two adult activity tickets for opening year for donations of $2,000 to $9,999; Anchor Leg Level includes name on permanent plaque at the entry of the complex, website recognition, customized press release, and two private field events for two years with donations of $10,000 to $49,999; Touchdown Level includes name on permanent plaque at the entry of the complex, website recognition, customized press release and custom logo on turf sideline for life of surface for donations of $50,000 to $99,999.

Donations of $1,000,000 and above will include Naming Rights Corporate Levels with the ability to name the press box, scoreboard, track lane, courtyard, softball field, weight room, track, football field, athletic complex, depending on donation amount. The naming rights come with exclusive logo placement, rebranding and promotion.

Fundraising efforts started in September with Opportunity Bank providing the first donation of $500 out of their employee jeans fund. Other donations then followed by the Aaron Chatten Memorial Softball Tournament and the Glasgow Montana All-Class Reunion Committee.

The committee is meeting on a monthly basis to continue to move the project forward and are working with different professionals in the design process to establish plans and cost figures. The hope is to have these plans and figures by the first of the new year.
