Milk River Athletes Make the Most of a Bad Situation

The Milk River basketball team was set to attend the Special Olympics Montana State basketball Tournament in Butte Nov. 10-12 but winter hit the state and disrupted Glasgow's travel plans. Rather than travel across the state in treacherous conditions for the 89-team tournament, the hoopsters of Milk River made the shorter trek to Sidney for a friendly game against the Eagles.

Coach OJ Taylor shared on Facebook: Glasgow won 32-14 but it really didn't matter who won. It was just SO much fun watching both teams play their best. After the game we went to their activity center and enjoyed pizza and fellowship with old and new friends."
